Spotlight on Library & Knowledge Services

Library Training Services

The library provides training sessions on various subjects, such as study skills, evidence searching and how to use all of the library’s electronic resources. The library’s at both Poole and RBCH put on weekly Lunch and Learn sessions, these are advertised in the staff bulletins or details can be found by clicking the Training and Events tab at the top of this page.  A different topic is covered each week and you are welcome to bring your lunch with you. There is no need to book these sessions just turn up on the day. Alternatively you can book an individual or group session at a time that suits you, just contact either the library at RBCH  or Poole Hospital to arrange what training you would like and when.

BMJ Case Reports now available

NHS members of staff based at Bournemouth & Christchurch Hospitals as well as Poole Hospital are now able to access BMJ Case Reports.

Healthcare Science Week 10 – 19 March 2017 #hcsweek17

After National Apprenticeship Week this week, it is only fitting that to follow on from that is Healthcare Science Week, which runs alongside British Science Week.

It is an opportunity for healthcare science professionals to educate and inform the future generations about their role in the care and treatment of patients.
