2017 marks 200 years since Parkinson’s was recognised as a health condition

Every hour, someone in the UK is told they have Parkinson’s.  One person in every 500 has Parkinson’s. That’s about 127,000 people in the UK

There’s currently no cure for Parkinson’s and we don’t yet know why people get the condition .

The last significant drug discovery for Parkinson’s was over 50 years ago.

People with Parkinson’s need a breakthrough.
