National Apprenticeship Week 6 – 10 March 2017

This year is the 10th anniversary of the National Apprenticeship Week.

The library team will be supporting the event at Poole Hospital on the 7th of March 2017.

The theme for this year’s NAW is the “ladder of opportunity,” other themes this year include: social mobility, raising the prestige of apprenticeships, meeting the skills need and apprenticeships delivering jobs and high-quality provision.

There are many events being held nationally across the UK which can be found at the NAW site here.

Poole Hospital is hosting an event on the 7th of March between 11am and 3.30pm. There will be representatives from local universities, awarding bodies and the Education Department here at Poole Hospital. This will give you a wealth of information regarding training opportunities in health and social care for non-clinical and clinical members of staff.

Further information about NAW2017 can be found on the Government’s website: National Apprenticeship Week 2017
