Access to Trip Pro to continue for the NHS in England in 2017

Access to the premium version of the Trip database (Trip Pro) will continue for everyone in the NHS in England for another year (until 31st December 2017).

What is Trip Database?

Trip like other databases, provides those in the health care profession with answers to clinical questions.

Trip is unique in that it provides a hierarchy next to results, enabling you to read through high levels of evidence such as systematic reviews and guidelines.

The Trip Pro version is  accessible via NHS computers.

A reminder that access to Trip Pro is via IP address.  When logging in to https://www.tripdatabase.com/ on an NHS computer, you should see the message “Your PRO account provided by Health Education England” (As seen below)

For help with using Trip or other databases for your searches, please contact the library teams at Poole: library@poole.nhs.uk or RBCH: library@rbch.nhs.uk
