NICE evidence surveillance reports

NICE surveillance reports are a way of keeping up-to-date with new research and have replaced the NICE evidence updates.  They provide a summary of new evidence published related to a guideline and provide an in-depth commentary on a selection of this evidence.  It includes the decision that NICE has taken about the need to update the relevant clinical guideline in light of new evidence.

Surveillance reports have recently been published for:

Glaucoma: Diagnosis and management

Familial breast cancer: classification, care and managing breast cancer and related risks in people with a family history of breast cancer

Early and locally advanced breast cancer: diagnosis and treatment

Advanced breast cancer: treatment and diagnosis

Depression in adults with a chronic physical health problem: recognition and management

Surveillance Reports coming soon for:

CG124 Hip Fracture – early December 2015

CG161 Falls: assessment and prevention of falls in older people – mid January 2016
