Revalidation for nursing and midwifery staff

revalidation banner

From April 2016 all nurses and midwives will have to revalidate to maintain their registration with the NMC. The new process replaces the current Prep requirements and nurses and midwives will have to revalidate every 3 years.

East Dorset NHS Libraries can help you with the revalidation process by:

  • Providing access to books and resources on reflective practice
  • Providing access to key resources to help you with clinical decision making or CPD
  • Setting up alerts to keep you updated with key research in your field
  • Helping you to find the information you need by providing information skills training
  • Supplying documents and articles
  • Providing a quiet space for reading and reflection

We will be out and about in the community to talk about how the library can help you during this process.   For more information about the services offered by the library please contact library@poole.nhs.uk or library@rbch.nhs.uk or pop in and see us.
