Top TV chef Jamie Oliver has received the highest award from the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP). The award recognises his work in furthering better food education through the Jamie Oliver Food Foundation and the global Food Revolution Day.
The Honorary Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners recognise his work to tackle childhood obesity by improving the nutritional value of school dinners. An Honorary Fellowship is the College’s most important award and is presented to doctors and non-doctors for outstanding contributions in the field of medicine, science or public service.
