95% compliance quality rating for your library service

We are pleased and proud to report that East Dorset NHS Library Service was awarded a 95% overall compliance in a recent Library Quality Assurance exercise.

Each year the library service is quality assessed against a range of criteria and expected to produce evidence to support compliance in each area.  The main categories include strategic management, finance, human resources, facilities, service delivery and promotion.   The East Dorset LQAF report 2012 commended the service on development of a wiki and blog; use of costing principles; support for research and development and use of a customer charter. 

We are extremely pleased with the result which is 10% higher than the national mean percentage score.

To maintain a quality service the library staff are continuing to develop new ideas and shape new services  and would be very interested to incorporate any ideas from local NHS staff – please leave a comment or send us an e-mail.
