Trip Database – an update

Trip Database has featured on our Blog before (website of the month last October) but some new features which have been introduced are well worth exploring!

When you search for a topic (eg heart failure) the search results are presented in the centre part of the screen. On the left there is a column about evidence which identifies systematic reviews, guidelines by country, as well as images, videos and patient information. You can limit the results to new research only.
On the right of the screen are the following features:
You can translate search results into one of 6 languages (great if you read German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian or Welsh!)
Clinical trials are highlighted – they are retrieved from the guideline.gov website
Related clinical calculators are displayed.

The site has incorporated new content from medical education, patient decision aids as well as enhanced content from social media and videos.
Do let us know if you would like to learn more about this resource!
