Information Revolution

An Information Revolution (DOH, 2010)is one of a series of documents for consultation published subsequent to the White Paper Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS.  It is part of the Government’s agenda to give people more information and control and greater choice about their care.  The information revolution is about transforming the way information is accessed, collected, analysed and used so that people are at the heart of health and adult social care services.

The Department of Health is consulting on the proposals set out in An Information Revolution. The consultation will close on 14 January 2011
